Sleek new Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) offers rescue at your fingertips in a thinner, more streamlined case that easily fits in your pocket. It is 35% smaller than the previous generation of PLBs giving you protection without the bulk. Whether in the backcountry or offshore, a PLB provides the ability to call for help with just a flip of a switch and can tell the world you are in trouble when you can’t. When activated, the ResQFix transmits an emergency signal with your unique digitally encoded distress message on 406MHz via COSPAS-SARSAT satellites and 121.5MHz homing frequency to rescue authorities for a minimum of 24 hours. The internal GPS acquires your position with 100 meter accuracy, sending your position along with your digitally encoded distress signal to rescue officials within minutes, cutting down the time to rescue drastically. Transmits on 406 MHz (COSPAS-SARSAT) with your registered, unique, digitally-coded distress signal, and 121.5 MHz (SAR homing frequency). Exclusive built-in GPS technology is finely tuned for optimum performance. 100 meter position accuracy when GPS coordinates are present.
